Diamond Multimedia is pleased to announce that we will be offering FREE upgrades to the eventual ITU standard for 56Kbps modem technology. There has been a lot of angst in the modem buying community about purchasing a 56K modem, since it was not clear what would happen when an ITU standard emerged. Well, the wait is over. The purchase of any Supra 56K modem, made by Diamond Multimedia, entitles the buyer to a free upgrade to the ITU standard. In most cases this will be a software upgrade. For some customers, a board exchange may be required. In either case, the upgrade will be free.
